DR. YVONNE KNIGHT is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has been practicing in Richmond, VA for over 25 years.
She attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and received her Bachelors of Science degree in pre-medical studies while she began a creative and lucrative career in jewelry making, marketing to major department stores. As planned, she still entered Howard University Medical School in Washington D.C. and graduated, followed by internship and residency training in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at Howard University Hospital, rotating through hospitals throughout the D.C. area.
Over the past years, she has been a medical news reporter for Health Team Six, a medical segment on the local CBS affiliate. She has lectured widely to universities and medical meetings as well as presented to numerous social and civic groups.
She is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the VCU Medical Center.

Kristen Albright attended Radford University then the Jefferson College of Health Science in Roanoke while working as a Pharmacy Tech. After graduating, she worked as a Cosmetic Physician Assistant in a well known medical spa in Salt Lake City. She brings this experience to our office with her advanced cosmetic training.
Jamie graduated from Hartwick College and then Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She worked in the medical fields of family medicine and pediatrics before joining our dermatology practice.
Jamie is married and has two children and one on the way. Jamie is a master at diagnosing and treating skin disorders, as well as, all forms of hair loss. She is also particularly fond of working with the young and elderly! In her spare time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and participating in outdoor activities. She also has a passion for photography and collecting family photos!
Ashlyn Ortega, originally from Roanoke Virginia studied at Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree of fashion merchandising. She then attended Vanderbilt University to become a nurse practitioner. She has successfully practiced at Duke University, The University of North Carolina, and Georgetown University then relocating to Richmond to be with her new husband. She loves dermatology and is excited to be working with our team at West End Dermatology Associates.
