Today's generation of patients is very active and want to look great throughout their lifetime. We say, "Why not?"

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX Richmond Furrows and deep wrinkles are caused by contractions of the underlying facial muscles of expression. When you smile, laugh, frown, or look puzzled, you contract the muscles of your face, deepening these lines. The more expressive you are, the deeper these lines and wrinkles can be. Although you may feel you have earned every one of them with life's dealings, BOTOX Treatments can prevent you from having to show them.

CO2 / Fractional

CO2 treatment is a skin resurfacing treatment that combines the effectiveness of traditional CO2 for wrinkle removal with a fractional technology that causes contraction and tissue tightening and stimulates the production of new collagen. This new technology softens fine lines/wrinkles, removes sun/age spots, improves both acne and surgery scars and produces new collagen for up to a year after treatment. All with minimal discomfort and downtime. Results are seen in as soon as a week and continue to improve for several months..

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion improves mild to moderate sun damage, scarring, wrinkles and other superficial skin problems. A wand with a roughened surface gently abrades and exfoliates the outer layer of skin and provides a fresh, glowing, younger appearance. Only a small amount of skin is removed, so sensitive areas such as the face, chest, neck, arms and hands can be treated. Results are comparable to a light chemical peel and should be immediately visible. Microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with other skin renewal procedures, such as laser treatment and chemical peels. Multiple treatments are recommended for full effect.

Fillers & Volumizers

As we age, our skin begins to lose its fullness, and sagging, wrinkling and hollowing occur. These changes and other effects of aging can be improved through the use of skin fillers and volumizers. These treatments, often made from collagen, hyaluronic acid gel and other natural substances, are injected directly into the skin to restore fullness and smooth out wrinkles and other fine lines. The injected substance supports the skin and restores the volume lost over time.

Skin fillers and volumizers can be used to treat the cheeks, eyes, mouth, brow, chin, nose and other areas of the face that may be affected by aging. The results are often visible immediately and continue to improve over several months. Many of the specific treatments have been approved by the FDA and are considered safe procedures with little to no side effects.

Photorejuvenation

The natural consequences of aging on our skin include sun damage, freckles, age spots, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and redness caused by broken capillaries and rosacea. Photorejuvenation reduces these signs of aging using non-invasive, painless pulses of light. Treatments can also improve the appearance of birthmarks and uneven pigmentation and stimulate the production of collagen. There is no recovery time and low risk of complications. Multiple sessions of about 20 minutes each are performed every few weeks until the desired result has been achieved.

Chemical Peels

The process of chemical peeling is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin by removing superficial layers of dead skin cells. This will help to eliminate fine wrinkles and lines, dull or rough textured skin, and discolorations like sunspots, age spots, liver spots, freckles, and splotching of your skin color. Chemical peels assist in the treatment of certain forms of acne and the spotting as well. It also improves the appearance of mild scarring and dilated pores.

Waxing

More and more people are opting for the long-term benefits of waxing. The advantage of waxing is that it takes 4 to 6 weeks before re-growth occurs, and when it does, the hair is finer and softer. Waxing removes the hair shaft, together with the root. This means that over time you will need to wax less frequently for smooth, hair-free skin. Shaving on the other hand is a temporary method of hair removal, which produces unsightly stubble.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is a hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints to produce the desired effect. This treatment alleviates the soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscle overuse and many chronic pain syndromes. It can also greatly reduce the development of painful muscle patterning, if employed early enough after accidents involving trauma and injury.

Laser Hair Removal

Whether for hygienic or cosmetic reasons, women and men who are tired of temporary, often painful methods of removing unwanted hair on the face, back, legs or other body areas may welcome laser hair removal with relief.

Lasers produce highly focused, intense beams of light. Dark pigments in the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface absorb this light and convert it to heat, destroying the follicles and preventing hair growth for up to two years.

Multiple treatments are required. Treatments are needle-free and do not require anesthesia. Most patients feel nothing more than a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band.

It is possible that some hair will grow back, though it is usually finer and lighter than what was originally removed. There may also be some redness and swelling following the procedure.

LED Treatment

LED Treatment Richmond LED (Light Emitting Diode) treatment uses red, blue and infrared light therapy to repair damaged skin cells and leave the skin looking softer, firmer and healthier than before. The light stimulates skin cells and allows your skin’s natural growth and renewal process to improve the appearance.

The LED procedure can improve the color, moisture, circulation, texture and oxygenation of the skin. An LED treatment takes about 30 minutes through a painless procedure in the doctor’s office. Repeat sessions are recommended, although results are sometimes visible after the first procedure.
